Not for use with an impact wrench." on their website.This socket also fits the BMW 36mm oil filter and works well. This item is sturdy but I would agree that I is not impact wrench sturdy.If your looking for a all purpose socket them this is not for you.If you are looking for a good socket for oil changes, than this is the right socket, with low cost and coated for easy clean up it is hard to beat.

Works GREAT!
I have a 2007 BMW 328xi Coupe with the 6FL AUX/USB option and an iPhone 4. This cable replaces the $370 OEM BMW iPod cable. For $22, this is an amazing deal. This cable works perfect. I connect my iPhone and the iPod option on the display enables. It shows all music by artist, album, playlists etc. Sound quality is great and volume/change song buttons from the steering wheel work perfectly. I also use bluetooth with my iPhone and the system can handle both at the same time!The "this accessory is not optimized for iPhone" message pops up upon connecting, but just tap "dismiss" and it works flawlessly. It even charges my iPhone, which the $370 BMW cable needs another $110 adapter to charge. I highly recommend this adapter. Works GREAT!

I have a 2008 BMW X5 and it works extremely well with my iPhone 3GS. I connected it to the USB and 3.5mm inputs inside the arm rest. I can navigate through the various iPod functions on the navigation screen and also select different tracks from the playlists using the buttons on the steering wheel. As a bonus, my iPhone gets charged while connected. Great product at a very reasonable price.

Works great in my BMW 335xi
I recently got a 2008 BMW 335xi which came equipped with the iPod/USB adapter in the armrest. But, it didn't have the iPod cable. The one from BMW is something like $100. I hooked this up and the iPod option on my car radio appeared and when I selected it, the radio quickly loaded all the songs and playlist information and I can now listen to my iPod through my car's radio system. And, I can control it with the steering wheel controls or the controls on the radio. It even allows me to browse and select songs by playlist, artist, genre, etc right from the radio. Nice! I couldn't be happier with this.

Ordered the cable as per the description, this normally costs around $99 AUD here in Australia from BMW Auto Centres, once I recieved it very I Am very happy with the item and happy to deal with Amazon in future.I used in in my 2010 BMW X5 iDrive 4WDI can now charge my phone at the same time I can pay music stored on my iphone in the car and use the controls on the car to view the songs, genre, playlists etc.Great purchase.

WORKS GREAT!!
Bought this for my brand new 2012 BMW x3 and saved myself $75! Was kinda bumm'n that the car didn't come w/ the cable and that BMW was ready to charge me for $99 for the "custom" cable. So glad I got this. Works like a charm. No album art, but does enable you to select from your normal itunes menu. You can also use spotify w/ it. It will show the songs in the idrive console but you don't really have a lot of control as far as fast forwarding or selecting artists/songs/playlists within the spotify application, but hell, I'll take it! Recommend buying this over the overpriced BMW wire for sure!

iPod Cable Adapter for Mini Cooper
My small concern about the quality of adapters like this after reading some other reviews was put to rest after receiving mine from this Amazon seller. I use the cable to connect my 160GB iPod to my USB connector in my 2008 Mini Cooper S, and it works like a total charm. Having my iPod's music library available to listen over my Mini's stereo system beats the CD, radio, or (subscription required) SAT radio hands down. In my opinion, it's the only way to listen to music while driving.
